Robert has experience developing computer simulations for the forestry industry that have run half a billion iterations monte carlo simulations within 8 hours on a single processor, developed speedups for multidimensional FFT algorithms that have increased processing speed by more than 250% in mill settings before parallelization, reduced big data from mill environment to be searched using statistical compaction of samples, and have coalesced dynamically generated heat transfer simulations within a CFD simulation that keeps track of heat transfer between the generated simulations.
